What are the potential causes for small to moderate amounts of bloody (fresh bright red) mucous in the diaper of a one month old? Baby is being breastfed and pediatrician is assuming allergens and restricting diet of mother. Two weeks of diet without dairy and nuts have not lessened the bloody stools.
