What Are The Reasons For Red Spots On Penis After Sex?

Hi , recently my boyfriend has been getting red spots on his penis after sex . They usually last a few days . However I do not have any signs of a yeast infection. The spots are not sore or itchy . Can you tell me what may cause this ? We also have unprotected sex.
