What Are The Red Itchy Bite Marks All Over My Body?

3 of my kids and myself have some bites on our bodies. My husband and my other 2 kids have none. They are itching and are raised and have a scabbing/dried area over the middle.
Could this be bed bug bites? I have searched all over my house for signs of them and found nothing.I did get a couch from a distant family member about a three weeks ago and got a kitten around the same time. Can flea bites have those same style bites?
