What Are The Red Spots On Face,skin And Back?

my baby has circular raised red rashes on his cheeks, besides the eyebrow and below his chin, which has now spread to pimple like red spots on his neck, back and behind his ear... it was diagnosed by a doctor as eczema but a pharmacist said it isntm rather that its a fungal infection... how does this occur and what is its treatment?
My baby is 13weeks old.
