What Are The Side Effect Of Using Implanon?

My 24 year old daughter had blood pressure taken on her arm with the implanon implant even after telling the nurse about it. They said it was fine. Now she started her period again after only a few days after it ended and is having more severe cramps. Should she go to the dr about it??
