What Are The Side Effects Of Crestor?

Hi I have very high cholestrol and I was taking CRESTOR 10Mg on and off for last 3 years. My doctor said its not controlling if you take it for few months and stop it . now I doctor said I have to take it everyday for rest of my life . I am only 40 years old . I just want to ask how safe this medicine is does it have any bad effect on leaver on later stage.
