What Are The Side Effects Of Crestor?

I am 55 year old, very active playing tennis at a high level at least twice weekly, 5 3 in ht and 117lbs wt. I have type 2 diabetes and on metformin 1000mg BID currently; I am Asian and practicing RN. My doctor has suggested that I take Crestor 5mg which I will get the script filled today. However, I am concerned regarding the side effects and want some feedback. Thanks you kindly,
