What Are The Side Effects Of Elixir Neogadine Syrup?

My daughter is 14 months old.the problem is she is picky eater and has very low epitite her Dr suggested Elixir neogadine syrup twice daily.so please tell me should i really start with it or will it have any side effects now or in future?ur help will mean a lot.
