What Are The Side Effects Of IUD?

I have had my IUD for 3 years this past October and i have been experiencing lower ab pain along with bright orange spotting.. I have a condition unfamilur with the name but the opening of the uterus is turned outwards so there is sensitive skin that can cause some bleeding but MY spotting starts after any physical activity, and mostly drinking, i just want to know why that is.
