What Are The Side Effects Of Implanon?

I got implanon inserted about 8 months ago. At first it was nonstop bleeding for three months after that i had no menstrual cycle at all. Just 3 weeks ago I started my period it lasted 2 weeks and stopped. Then just yesterday I started again should I be worried? Should I change my contraceptive? I also need some feedback on implanon.
