What Are The Side Effects Of Meladinine?

Hi doctor, my daughter has been having vitiligo for the past 8years. She is on meladinine tablets 2tablets 3 times a week followed by exposure to sun. She is 17 years old. Are there any side effects especially since I hear that this drug is carcinogenic. Also, any advise on how to better handle her condition. Please help and thank you in advance.
