What Are The Side Effects Of Mirena IUD?

hi i have had the mirenna coil fitted in feb this year for heavy bleeding, but seem to have constant belly ache lower down , and over this weekend started to suffer from back pain and thrush. i have been back to my doctor about the coil and he said to keep on trying it considering going back to coil clinic, can they take it out ?
