What Are The Side Effects Of Mirena IUD?

I had the mirena coil fitted by consultant last wed due to heavy, lengthy period & pain. Since then I have bled continually/flooding. I am staying positive taking paracetamol,hot water bottle as really want it to work for me as had lots of positive reports from practice nurses I work with.
