What Are The Side Effects Of Regestrone, And Is It A Good Alternative To Hysterectomy For My Fibroids And Adenomyosis?

Hi, I am 41 yrs & I have 2 to 3 very small sized fibroid , in TVS report it’s also mentioned that beside fibroids, uterus is bulky likely for Adenomyosis. First doctor gave contraceptive pills for 3 months and repeated all tests & decided to prescribed Hysterectomy. I went for 2 nd opinion , my 2 nd doctor prescribed Regestrone twice daily for 14 days for 3 cycles . I started the dose but want to know the side effects of Regestrone . And also want to know is the 2nd opinion good to go for me? Note - I m diabetic and on medication for that. Any suggestions will be of great help .
