What Are The Side Effects Of Inhaling Paint Fumes?

My husband painted our shop building with oil based kilz. He inhaled quiet a bit of it before venting. He stopped painting about 2 hours ago and when he breathes, I can smell the fumes. Should we be concerned? It s bedtime and I m fearful of him passing out through the night.
