What Are The Side Effects Of Laser Hair Removal?

Three weeks ago I got laser hair removal on my side burns. When I went to the dermatologist, they had performed a spot test....in which seems like it resulted as my first treatment? When it was done they ask me to buy ploysporin? I had been applying it 3x per day for almost 2 weeks? along the way Ive noticed reddish areas where the laser zapped and went back to the dermatologist to find out I was suppose to only use ploysporin for 3 days...now the treated area looks reddish still and told me the redness will go away? will it?
