What Are The Side Effects Of Mirena?

I've had the Mirena for 4 1/2 years now, I'm supposed to get it removed in december of this year. Recently I've been experiencing a light brown gritty and peanut shaped substance during sex. It has no smell. It's totally embarrassing. What could it be and what can I do about it?
