What Are The Signs Of Labour Pain?

im 38+4 weeks pregnant last monday i lost my plug and dilated 2cm had some contractions but they stopped so i was sent home last nite i was in a bit of pain with few contractions then it stopped after 2 hours today i in a lil pain and few tightnings could i be in labour.
