What Are The Survival Chances From A Heart Attack After A Heart Bypass?

Hi Docs, one of my family member had a heart bypass in 2003. He has just had a heart attack. Would you be able to shed some light on the chances of him surviving this. By the way he had not changed his smoking habits after the operation however he did control his diet for sometime. Many Thanks.
