What are the symptoms of Elizabethkingia Anophelis going around in Wisconsin?
My husband almost dies Christmas day - went septic when I had him admitted to Missouri Baptist Hospital in ST. Louis....Said to be pneumonia as left lung was full of it & still has after antibodics & anti viral meds & 4 cat scans? My husband had NO sypmtoms of anything until he woke up at 4AM with what the DR's are now calling Rigors - severe shaking with chills & being violently cold & BP had dropped to 98/53.
Stayed in hospital 5 days & is still not over --could this be the same type of infection?
