What Are The Symptoms Of Haemorrhoid?

I thought I had a external hemroid. I used over the counter meds and it s been a month and it s still there. Today I have been constipated and I finally used the restroom and there was a lot of blood. I had my husband look and he found a hole where the hemroid is. Is it a hemroid or could it be something else?
