What Are The Symptoms Of Herpes?

I was told by my OB/GYN that I have herpes...but I have never had symptoms (so I think unless I mistaked them for something else). When I infomed my reg physican, she said the test that was done just says I have been "exposed" but she would need to see physical sores for more confirmation. I am confused and go back and forth with myself about the issue
