What Are The Symptoms Of Inguinal Hernia?

I am 71 yrs old. Even with regular check ups and low PSA levels and Rapaflo 8 mg daily. I am still having to get up multiple times at night to pea, and often during the day. My doctor seems unconcerned, and is not all that good of a communicator. I have a tremendous I mean very very painful area in the prostate area, the rectal area, and the crotch area. A ingual hernia left side repaired laproscopically, has left me with more pain in that area and left crotch area, and now pain in the heal of my left foot. Repaired with mesh (fishing line stuff) I was told. Also in the left crotch area I have a very hard and long finger size like not that is not normal and is painful to press on. Had it checked out by the surgeon who did the hernia repair and he said it was not cancer and had no answer other than it was swollen lymps. Nothing he could do about it he said, and I would just have to live with it. Well I fell miserable as heck and like piano wire cutting me apart in these areas. Do not sleep much because of it. To make things worse I was shot through the right hip with AK47 1969 during Vietnam War. It came very close to the sciatic nerve, and exited near the rectum. Seems like I am getting worse not better or even stable. Otherwise, I am healthy. Robert L. Oerther
