What Are The Symptoms Of Recovery From Shingles?

I was diagnosed with Shingles and lost the left side of movement on face one week ago. What are the signs of the nerves repairing themselves? And are these they nerves that are on the R-side of my face?

I ask because the left side of my face is starting to feel tender to touch.
