What Are The Symptoms Of Shingles?

I woke up this morning and my tagus is swollen to the size of a small milk dud. Excrucitingly painful, no prior drainge, infection, or itching. The entire side of my face hurts and my ear canal is starting to hurt, has increased in size in last 4 hrs. Dont know if related but I have anextremely itchy rash on my stomach and calf...Could this be shingles?
