How Can I Relieve Severe Itching And Pain From Scabies After Using Permethrin?

What can I do to ease the itching and rash/pain of scabies? I’ve got the permethrin, applied it for the first time on Thursday and since then the rash and itching has gotten ten times worse. Tried sudocrem and it didn’t work, tried moisturiser and it didn’t work, just tried aloe vera roughly 15 minutes ago and still nothing, the rash is incredibly painful.
