What can I expect for my friend, probably in the final stages of normal pressure hydrocephalus. A shunt about 6 years ago was not successful. He is 83, in a nursing home, cannot walk, and is starting to sleep a lot more. He is eating less and is no longer interested in reading his mail or interacting. We are his POA.
