What can I tell my GYN to get him to stop pushing HRT. I had a total hysterectomy on Sept. 4, 2015, and he has been pushing HRT to maintain smooth skin, and youthful appearance. I have not experienced any greater menopausal symptoms after my hysterectomy than before. I am 50 years old. The reason for the hysterectomy was to remove fibroids that were growing and causing very heavy bleeding.
