What Can A Cyst With Fluid On Back Mean?

Hello my grandma has had a cyst in her back for about more than a year and it started off small now it's bigger than the size if a quarter and when you squeeze it discharge comes out and it is like stringy it squirts out. Could this be something bad or is this just a regular cyst with fluid in it?
