What Can Be The Effect Of Trichomonas Infection During Pregnancy?

hi I was Just wondering, I have trichomonas and im pregnant I have been with my partner for 8 years and we have had a child together 6 years ago and I have not slept with anyone but my partner and was wondering if being tested for trich would have been a routine thing done 6 years ago during pregnancy.....Im just trying to figure out how I got it and if its possible I had it 6 years ago and just never got tested for it
