What Can Be The Effects Of Not Taking Antibiotics After Squamous Cell Carinoma Removal?

8 days ago I had a squamous cell carinoma removed from a few inches above my ankle in the back of my leg. Yesterday it started hurting quite a bit and looked a little red around the wound. I called the dermatologist, who prescribed cephalexin. Today it isn t hurting and it looks better, but I haven t taken any of the antibiotic yet and after reading these awful reviews, I don t want to. Since it feels and looks better today, do you think it would be ok not to take the antibiotic?
