What Can Cause 3 Times The Cortisol Level In A

What can cause 3 times the cortisol level in a 55 year old female.. she has lost most f her muscle strength over the last 3 to 4 years, maybe more.. her central nervous system causes her to not be able to stand loud noises, conversation, touch, etc.. she is one step before a nursing home, and we can't find anyone that knows what happened or what to do. She is beyond physical therapy, too much for her muscles.. she is incontinent and most times can't even wipe herself..
