What Can Cause Swollen And Sensitive Penis?

I have been having a lot of sex, and not using enough lube. Today the skin under the head of my penis got swollen and sensitive, and I don't know what to do- my girlfriend uses birth control so we don't use protection, and we tried anal before she said it hurt too much. Is this irritation? An infection?
