What Can Cause Blemishes On Cheeks And How To Treat Them?

I am 53 years old and all of a sudden, I am getting brown marks on my cheeks, almost blotchy kind of......I do take hormone therapy, would that be causing it? Or could I get it from getting Gentle Waves LED light treatment? How can I get rid of them? I also used tomato paste as a facial....Thanks for your help. Lainey
