What Can Cause Boils In Groin Area,breasts And Armpit?

i am female age 53. i started getting boils in the groin area at age 17. doctor said was phlebitis! kept getting boils. first child at age 27, went to royal free london finally told hidradenitis sup. have since - when very stressed, had not only in groin but also breasts and armpits. boil burst hour ago in groin worst yet. But i today had test for diabetes. is it more likely to be hs or could it possibly be caused by diabetes, i've seen some picures of acne conglobata - doesnt look like that. i smoke and am slightly overweight.
