What Can Cause Pain And Tenderness On Left Upper Abdomen?

Yes, I had a coughing session and now for the last couple of days I have a pain on my left side, upper abdomen. It hurts when I take a deep breath or cough. It is a little tender to the touch. Not sure if pulled musle or hernia. Trying to rest yesterday and today.
