What Can Cause Pimple On Underarm?

Two weeks ago, I found something that looked like a pimple in the underarm. Today, some blood came out of it, and I think it's some sort of clot. What could be the cause of this, and why? and what can I do to get rid of this and prevent this from happening in the future? Thank you.
