What Can Cause Reddish Spots On Skin?

Hoping you may be able to help. I have dark/tan/reddish spots on my skin which appear as round or oval shaped, dry, scaly that have appeared w/i the last 6 months. I also have seen tiny red dots that have appeared as well as white spots. While researching the I found that they may be signs of HIV, and/or Tinea Versicolor as for the dark spots. I am concerned mostly because they appeared after having sex with a my last partner. I plan to see a dermatologist soon, I have been tested for Hiv but still so detection. What do you think? Please give me any info you may have.
