What Can Cause Small Maroon Colored Blisters Just Below The Ridge Of Penis?

I seem to have developed a small maroon-coloured blister just below the ridge of my penis. It is painless, flat but the skin is a little rough. I haven't had 'rough sex' or unprotected sex. I'm 53 years old and in reasonably good health. I don't smoke and rarely if ever drink.
