What Can Hot Flashes Despite Hysterectomy Indicate?

I almost always feel hot. The only time I don't feel hot is in subzero weather air movement seems to help what can I do? I had a hysterectomy at age 40 I am now 51 so I don't think this has to do with menopause. The heat gets worse after I eat as well.
