What Cause Pain In Ears?

severe earache...doctor asked if my teeth hurt said no because its not a severe toothache to believe its my teeth causing this pain. she said it could be congestion and to take sudafed and gargle salt water also to sleep with a humidifier which i've done all three and still no relief my ear is still killing me help! its a sharp stinging and pressure feeling and it comes and goes constantly!
