What Caused Dizziness After Missing A Few Contraceptive Pills?

i was getting dizzy spells a few months ago, the doctor said i had a viral infection in my ear, i have missed quite a few contraceptive pills lately and have started getting them again when i took one, theyve went away again now but what could of caused it?
