What Causes HIV Symptoms While HIV Test Is Negative?

i have a question, i had sex with my ex who had many bodies, after a year and a half i started getting all possible symptoms of hiv then i went to my doctor she gave me anti fungal medication but the symptoms left while taking the medications soon after my prescription was done the symptoms came back then a week later i took a hiv test it was negative with me having all the symptoms. i have taken anothe hiv test and waiting on the results can anybody help me im worried and its killing me
