What Causes A Brown Semi Tick Line Across Nose?

Hello I have a brown semi thick line that goes across my nose. I have had it for a month now and experience this about a year ago also. I do not remember how or what I did to make it go away the last time but its back again and some people keep saying its a high PH in my skin. Do you have any idea what it could be or how to get rid of it?
