What Causes A Bump On The Tongue Along With Runny Nose?

Hello I have had a cold for a few days with some congestion/runny nose and coughing. It disappeared after 3 days of taking some cold medicine but a new symptom came up. I feel pressure at the roof of my mouth but not at the back. It is similar to the feeling you get from a congestion but it is on the bump directly above the center of your tongue. When ever I swallow or apply pressure on that spot on my tongue I feel a small headache that spreads from my nose to the center of my brain. Do you know what this might be?
