What Causes A Caesarean Section Area Tenderness With Stabbing Sensations?

Hi,

I am a 44 year old woman with 2 young children 18 months and 3 years. I have noticed over the past 3/4 months, the area around left groin below my c-section is tender when touched a stabbing sensation. Is this something to be concerned about and should I visit a doctor?
