What Causes A Chalky Film Covering On The Penis?

during my last intercourse with my boyfriend i would reach down and touch his penis and there would be a film almost on it, like chalky and a little moist when he leaves the bed feels like sand all over it .. just wondering what that could be? thinking he has a yeast infection?
