What Causes A Cold Sensation All Over The Body?

I am a 37 year old woman and twice in the last 3 months had an episode where a cold internal feeling went throughout my body from upper leg area into the chest. Shortley following that then a heat feeling and then back to cold several times. I get nervous when this happens and run around the house cleaning it eventually goes away. Twice it happene in the evening hours.
