What Causes A Dent In Upper Part Of Shin Bone Leading To Pain?

I found a dent in the upperpart of the shin bone.. and I do have a flat foot due to sinus tarusus and the fallen arch ovder the last 2.3 years and now I bruised it just after christmas *(shin ( and was ok, but now the area thobs and achey and very hard to walk far ans nausa also
