What Causes A Dry Mole On The Leg?

Last night I noticed a mole on my leg that seems to have appeared out of no where. After looking online it looked like a Spitz Nevus (slightly darker skin color, raised and nodular.) This morning when I checked it was kind of dried up and even starting to come up at the edges like it's going to fall off. Is this anything to worry about? Is it even a mole at all? If it is cause for concern should I go to urgent care or wait and get into a dermatologist sometime next week?
